Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (your choice, such as penne or fusilli)
- 1 jar Arlotta Piccante Tomato Pesto Spread
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp Arlotta Kosher organic olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.
- In a large pan over medium heat, add the Arlotta Kosher Organic olive oil and Arlotta Piccante Tomato Pesto Spread. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach the desired sauce consistency.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, toasted pine nuts, and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately with additional Parmesan cheese and basil for garnish if desired.
