Piccante Tomato Pesto Pasta

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, add the Arlotta Kosher Organic olive oil and Arlotta Piccante Tomato Pesto Spread. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach the desired sauce consistency.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, toasted pine nuts, and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately with additional Parmesan cheese and basil for garnish if desired.
