Our Story
the beginning
Our journey started over a decade ago at a farmers market in Bridgehampton, NY.
Fun filled weekends at markets quickly became an obsession, and the springboard for the business we own and operate today.
Since our products pair perfectly with the fresh produce, bread, fish, cheese, and meats commonly found at farmers markets, it made perfect sense to add locations to grow our business. As our portfolio of markets grew, so did our collection of premium quality, organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and condiments. Eventually we outgrew typical product sourcing forcing us to produce our own products from the ground up.
it takes a village
Arlotta Food Studio is our baby. Our namesake. We joined hands to raise a brand we are proud of.
our roles are clear
John Arlotta does the branding, Mario Arlotta is our Operations guy and Chris Arlotta is our PR lady, often found hob-knobbing around the Hamptons creating “the buzz’. And it takes a quorum to agree on the food quality and flavor profiles. Do we always agree? Nope, we are Italian, so lively conversations at dinner are commonplace.
Nothing gets by
We are hands on, especially the Customer Service piece, along with our product development, vendor relations, and quality assurance will always run by at least one of us. Always!
Our Doctrine is simple
It’s all about flavoring, lifting simple dishes to another level. John’s favorite expression is: “and you’re done” embodying our goal of enhancing your favorite meals, with a drizzle here and a spoonful there.
