Ted was born in Massachusetts and is a US Army veteran and culinary school graduate from Boston.
Ted's career in food and hospitality began in the luxury resort industry, including the Jupiter Beach Resort and the Delray Marriott resort. Other notable organizations where Ted has honed his culinary expertise are the Ibis Golf and Country Club and Holland America cruise lines. Ted served as Executive Chef at the award winning Palm Beach International Equestrian Center and Tryon International.
A return to his Eastern roots led him to several resorts in New England, where he served as Executive Chef and consultant until opening his namesake restaurant in Manchester Vermont, Ted | Manchester. Later, he settled with his fiancé in Illinois and opened the Capital House Restaurant.
After closing in 2019 he returned to Vermont to seek a better life. After a couple of trials including Sugarbush, he brings his 33 years of experience and passion for creating exquisitely prepared American and European fare to Sage.
